Joe Sanders is a no nonsense guitarist that comes from Washington D.C.  Playing shows from New York City's The Bitter End and CBGB’s to L.A.'s The Viper Room and The Satellite, Floridas' Ruth Eckerd Hall and the Historic Tampa Theater, and everywhere in between.

Joe Sanders’ guitar has blistered national and Tampa Bay stages for over 30 years with bands like Deva Deep, Freaks Rule , Starbelly , Lexicon Devil, Shadowcraft, The Black Honkeys, Four Star Riot, Death-Love and Addiction, Cult Status Led Zeppelin tribute band The-Crunge and Barefoot Bob and the Hope just to name a few. Then in 2006 Joe worked with Mega producer Silvia Massy Shivy {Prince,The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny Cash,Tom Petty,Tool} and Jim Wood from Dishwala, on Basic Rock Outfit's 2007 national release "Thank You For The Pain" on 101 Distribution.Then  Released two independent solo records " It is what it is " and "Blackbird" between 2009 and 2011 while playing hired gun for the best singers and bands in the Tampa Bay area. Forming Umbra Luna in 2018 Joe can now concentrate on "Just the music".
